TECHNICAL THEATRE SERVICES

Backstage Productions HK Limited specialise in providing audio, lighting, and technical services for musical theatre events in Hong Kong. Our previous clients include repertoire societies, private schools, and theatre clubs. Our previous productions, includes Wizard of Oz, Songs for A New World, Sunday In The Park with George and The Sound of Music to name a few! Through our education and outreach team, we also provide technical theatre workshops and training for students and faculties in schools, enabling them to participate in their theatrical production in a role backstage!

 

In addition to equipment rentals, we provide show programming, lighting and audio design as well as stage management and production management work.

 

Backstage Productions HK is one of the few companies in Hong Kong that specialise in theatre show control programming on the industry standard software, Qlab! We have specialised equipment to allow our Qlab system to cue video, audio playbacks, as well as lighting control!

 

In addition, our lighting team is certified by Electronic Theatre Controls (ETC) on the Ion XE consoles. We are also one of the few equipment providers here in Hong Kong that provide industry-leading lighting software, ETC Eos as well as ETC element (via ETC Nomad) for productions.
